Greyston’s individually wrapped brownies are made from scratch, in-house by a collective team of bakers hired by our Open Hiring policy. Open Hiring means if you show up for a job, we will give you one with no interviews, no resumes, and no background checks required.

Once deemed “unemployable,” these bakers struggled to find work due to barriers to employment like ageism, sexism, lack of skills or education, criminal background, and more. Now deemed essential, they are the world’s most inspiring brownie artisans.
