Greyston Foundation is proud to announce that five of our recent graduates from our security certification program were featured on the front cover of the NY POST and on FOX 5 news on January 25th. These graduates were hired by the Fordham Road BID’s new grassroots program as Patrol Ambassadors, tasked with keeping Bronx businesses safe.
Our Workforce Development programs offer job training and certification in high-demand industries such as security, IT, healthcare, business, construction, and hospitality. We provide a comprehensive training program, which not only teaches the necessary technical skills, but also essential “soft” skills and offers a full year of wraparound social services support to help our participants succeed in their new roles.
It’s a proud moment for Greyston to see the impact our program has had on these individuals’ lives. They’ve gone from not getting call backs for employment to being called upon to protect and serve their communities.
We are thrilled to see the success of these five security guards and are proud to be a part of their journey. They are a testament to the power of job training and the positive impact it can have on individuals and communities.
