What is a B Corp?
A B Corp is a company focused on using the power of business as a force for social, environmental, and economic good. Certification comes from a thorough evaluation by B Lab. B Corp certification is to business what Fair Trade certification is to cocoa or sugar. Certified B Corps are part of a community working toward being the best in the world and being the best for the world.
Why does being a B Corp matter?
Being certified B Corp aligns our business model with our overall mission and vision. Through the power of business, it drives social and environmental changes to improve the human condition in our community. It holds us accountable for monitoring and benchmarking our performance against our goals as the company grows and evolves.
How did Greyston Become B Corp Certified?

Who are the B Corporations?
Today, more than 1,400 Certified B Corps from more than 120 industries in nearly 50 countries are working together toward one unifying goal: to redefine business success. Some of our favorites include:
Is there a difference between a B Corp and Benefit Corporation?
Yes! Both B Corps and Benefit Corporations are leaders of a global movement to use business as a force for good. The critical difference between the two is that Benefit Corporations self-report performance standards. In contrast, B Corps are assessed and scored by the nonprofit B Lab. We’re proud to be both.
