YO Kidz is an innovative technology and enterprise after school program, engaging 30 youth. YO Kidz was developed in 2000 to provide disenfranchised southwest Yonkers adolescents a safe, structured, educational environment in which to spend after school hours and prepare for academic and personal success.

Youth participate in the Junior Achievement’s “Enterprise in Action” curriculum, which teaches business management, ethics and entrepreneurial skills in a 10-week after-school program. As part of the program, participants directly apply their new skills to the creation of new local businesses, products, and services and earn a Junior Achievement Certificate. The program operates two afternoons each week from Greyston Technology Education Center at 62 Warburton Avenue.
