what we do
Greyston Foundation is a $13,000,000 integrated network of for-profit and not-for-profit entities, providing jobs, workforce development, low-income housing, supportive services, child care, after-school programs, comprehensive HIV health care, tenant services, community gardens and a gourmet bakery business.

Greyston exists to help individuals and families visualize and realize paths to self-sufficiency. Greyston is distinguished by its entrepreneurial culture and its spiritually rooted philosophy, which combine community development and a commitment to human growth and potential.

Greyston Foundation is the major community development and comprehensive services organization dedicated to supporting low-income individuals and families of Yonkers, NY, as they forge paths to self-sufficiency and community transformation. The City of Yonkers, bordering New York City and itself the state’s fourth largest city, contains the largest concentration of poverty in affluent Westchester County.
